Intro to Linocutting - Christmas Cards- 21st Nov

Join me for this 2.5-hour introduction to linoprinting where we will be carving and printing a square piece of lino for christmas cards.

We will learn the basics of carving with linocutting tools, different techniques and approaches to design for linocutting and how to print a clear image from your lino. We will have a few different papers to try out and a few different colours, though this is one block so we will mostly be working with one colour at a time on the block. There is the option to add a few watercolours, as I have in this example, but this is not essential.

When: 21st November - 4-6.30pm
Where: Hartley Farm, Winsley
