Having a regular gratitude practice has been shown again and again to bring immensely positive changes. These include improved mental and physical health, sleep, reduced anxiety and more.
My favourite time of day to practice gratitude is before bed. I think of 3 things im grateful for that happened in the day, and it feels like a nice way to calm my mind, reflect and set up for a good night's sleep.
Gratitude as a practice can be so powerful. Backed by research it is a great tool to improving well-being and happiness.

In a landmark study, participants who wrote gratitude letters or lists experienced lasting increases in happiness and decreases in depressive symptoms compared to control groups.

Another study found that gratitude journalling was associated with greater positive affect and increased optimism over time.
